Be Courteous Of Your Fellow Dumpster Users
Dear Sunwood Residents,
We ask everyone to please be courteous of your fellow residents when disposing of items in the Sunwood dumpsters. The East dumpster size will be increased in size to an 8 yard container shortly at the request of residents, however it is important to note that items continuously have been placed in the dumpsters that unnecessarily take up valuable space.
1) Always make sure your garbage bags are always tied closed to avoid any items from spilling.
2) Never place cardboard boxes in the dumpster. Boxes placed in the dumpster take up valuable room and can lead to additional charges by Waste Management for over fill charges. Cardboard boxes must always be flattened and placed in the recycle bins, no matter what size big or small. If there is no room in the recycle bin you can place the flattened cardboard neatly next to the recycle bin, but never in the dumpster.
3) Never place any items in the dumpster such as water heaters, TV's, furniture, shelving, fans, boxes or any item that is not able to fit inside of a standard kitchen 14 gallon garbage bag.
Thank you for your cooperation so that we can keep our dumpster areas clean and nicely maintained for everyone to use!

TROPICAL STORM NICOLE ALERT
TROPICAL STORM NICOLE ALERT:
Sunwood Residents:
There is a Tropical Storm Watch for inland Miami-Dade County. Tropical Storm force & strong wind gusts may be expected to impact Sunwood beginning late Wednesday through Thursday. Please keep a watchful eye on the storm, as the track has been moved Southward and the storm is expected to strengthen.
Use showers and toilets sparingly especially if the parking lots become flooded. During previous storms, flooding of the county's main sewer lines have resulted in Sunwood experiencing backups and slow to flush toilets on the first floors. We ask everyone to use water sparingly and avoid routine/peak hours of use all day Wednesday to alleviate any possibility of backups on the first floor.
Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor furniture and other unsecured items. If you experience any roof leaks or water intrusion please email pictures to sunwoodcondominium@gmail.com with your unit number and contact information.

Glass containers & food are not allowed in the pool area
Dear residents,
We ask that residents and their guests follow the pool rules at Sunwood when in the pool area.
No food or drink is allowed inside the fenced pool area at any time. This is a regulation by the Miami Dade County Health Department. The rules also do not allow any type of glass containers to be brought into the pool area. Concerned residents have notified the Association that food and drinks (including glass containers) have been brought inside the pool area. Failure to comply with the pool rules can lead to violations by the Miami Dade County Health Department and eventual closing of the pool area.

Put A Stop To Littering At Sunwood
Dear Residents,
Help put a stop to littering at Sunwood. We have noticed an increase in littering around the condominium hallways, plants, stairwells, and parking lots. Recently children's items such as a plastic bottle for bubbles, empty jello cup left by the stairs, children snack bags at the entrance, and wet wipes on the hallway second floor. Please make sure to always check and clean up after your children if they go outside with any items, and please let them know that they should never leave anything outside or in the hallways. We appreciate your help and cooperation to keep Sunwood looking its best!
